How the Admissions Process Works
An important aspect of howPet Friendly Detox operates is our belief in treating individuals, and in truly getting to know our clients as people. As such, the admission process is an important step for us in learning about you and your struggle with addiction. We take an individualized approach to each client. Nothing is ever “cookie-cutter” or “one-size-fits-all.”
When your loved one first arrives at Pet Friendly Detox, the initial step is a conversation. Your loved one will speak with one of our addiction recovery specialists, who will take a deeper dive into their needs for recovery. Our addiction specialists will create an addiction recovery plan that we tailor to meet the needs of your loved one. The process moves forward from there.
Drug and Alcohol Intervention Services
Your concern may not be the admissions process itself, but actually getting your loved one to Pet Friendly Detox for treatment. Certainly, we do not recommend coercion—but at the same time, we understand that addiction is often accompanied by denial. Your loved one may be unwilling to admit that they have a problem.
What can be done to persuade your loved one to seek rehabilitation? A big part of it is going to be expressing your concern, your support, your encouragement and your love. With that said, an intervention may also be effective. Solution Based is pleased to offer intervention services, which you can use to help you speak more effectively to your friend or loved one, to break down their denial, to show them their need for change, and ultimately to demonstrate the value in recovery.
